Why does everything have to turn political?

This has happened so many times when a nu tjob gets a hold of a gun and kills a bunch of people. The media has to find out what their political preference was. It ends up firing everyone up on both sides and it gets us fucking nowhere. With this Colorado shooting, first off, obviously, it’s a horrible tragedy and I’m keeping the victims’ families in my thoughts. But here it is, only about 12 hours after a horrible tragedy and people are looking for someone to blame. Instead of blaming the psychopath with a gun. First he was linked to tea party, “but now it’s a big deal, he’s a democrat!

Why do we care? It’s not like it was with the Giffords shooting, this had no political backing that I’m aware of, he shot up a movie theater, not a politician. People want someone to blame, and it’s never the most obvious person, it always has to be someone in office, or a political party.

Guess what people. Psychos come in all different shapes, sizes, colors, and political parties. I’m a very liberal guy, and I know there are some crazy conservative people. But I’ll be the first to admit, there’s some crazy neo-liberals out there too. I’m also Agnostic, borderline Atheist. There’s sure as shit some crazy Christians out there. But there’s also some crazy Agnostics and Atheists and certainly some crazy members of other religions. The point is everyone has their extremists. Every single goddamned party, every religion, every race, every country. So why do we blame the particular group that these people come from and not the people themselves? Why must there be someone who is still alive to point a finger at? Why can’t we just say, together, “Dude, that guy who shot up that movie theater was a fucking wack job!”. Instead it’s, “It’s your fault that fucking wack job shot up that movie theater!”

This is why I don’t like politics, I don’t like political parties, I don’t like the media, and I stay the fuck away. Because everything is fucking politics. Especially when politics has no fucking right to rear it’s ugly fucking head.
