I just want someone that I can go to art events with. My friends have pretty much zero interest in it. Like this past weekend I went to Artscape, and earlier in the summer I went and saw the Open Walls murals, I dragged my sister along to both because I thought she would be semi-interested, and she was, but I still pretty much had to beg her to go with me. I want someone where I’d be like “Hey, Artscape is this weekend, we should go.” or, “Hey, the last OWB mural went up, we should go and see them all.” And they’d be like , “Fuck yes, let’s go!”.

There’s an art show coming up at The Creative Alliance and I really want to go, but I don’t want to drag my sister along since I’ve been doing that all summer already. In fact, I think it’s a safe bet, if I go regularly, I would probably go to everything at The Creative Alliance, the Windup Space, pretty much any place in Baltimore where there’s some kind of gallery/show.

I need an art friend.
