Apparently, this is the German branding for 7 Up. On one side I really like the simplicity and I really like the seven. But then again  I also don’t like the same two things. I love bold simple fonts like that, but I feel like the 7 should have a little more character to it. I think one of the comments on the site is perfect, they said it was “a lateral move”, and I think that’s exactly what this logo is. I can’t really lean towards one logo or the other. I like the classic one because that’s basically the one I’ve known for so long, and the other I like because it’s trying to be different. I’ve never waffled on a logo like I am on this one. I just don’t know. The logo does look better on the bottle (instead of just being in dead white space), mostly because they made it freaking huge. Packaging wise, I don’t like the ones that have photo realistic limes and lemons, but I do like the bubble-like green and yellow dots. Source: Brand New (via thedesignateddesigner, lindseygrande)
