My t-shirt today is sponsored by Banksy. :)
If I was the guy that created the Gun Toting Panda, I would be PISSED to see so many people claiming that it’s by Banksy. Because I’ve never once seen it credited to anyone but Banksy. It’s pretty ridiculous that they get no credit for such an iconic image that you see everywhere.
#pills #banksy (Taken with instagram)
#don’t think so #its a wheat paste #but it is clever
I am trying to remember that guy who pasted the skull grapes, then later painted the green and let it drips name. Because it wouldn’t surprise me if this were him, it seems like his style (Fuck instagram)
That would be the work of Ludo.
The green is a dead giveaway. Everything of his is black, white and green. And yeah, he did do the that skull you’re thinking of also.

First post that popped up on my dash from them was of a piece that was most definitely not by Banksy.

Not looking back. Unforgivable.
Banksy
nah. wapnk** same with the other stencil of the couple.
I’m sorry, really trying not to be an asshole here. But why do people who don’t know the correct artist of a street art piece caption it with Banksy? There are literally countless artists out there and Banksy doesn’t create every single creative/clever street art piece you see.
Plusmn has been reblogging a bunch of people incorrectly captioning stuff as Banksy and correcting them (and I love her for it), and it amazes me how many people do it. This isn’t Banksy’s style at all so why assume it’s him? What makes it even worse is that poor Wapnk even put his/her name on their piece and people still give credit to Banksy. This required no research at all, their name is right there.
Alright, rant over. I guess I just have a new pet peeve is all.
